As Loire-et-Cher county administrative centre, the town of Blois was where Louis XII resided at the beginning of the 16th century. Home to a royal chateau, St. Louis cathedral and the House of Magic with its famous dragons, the BLOIS tour has some real “must -sees”!
The tour starts from the arcaded Louis XII square at the foot of the steps which lead up to the chateau, we then whizz off to explore the riches of the town!
During this steep and whimsical ride, breathe in the views of the town and its monuments , also the views of the Loire river seen from the l’Evêché Gardens.
Navigating from St. Nicolas church all the way to St. Louis cathedral, you will scoot along the paved streets and past the town shops. The highest point of the tour is reached by going up round the corn exchange before heading smoothly back down towards the chateau.
And if you’re lucky, you might get a glimpse of the dragons dancing through the windows of the House of Magic!
